Farm to Institution New England Director of Programs

FINE is a six state network of public, private, and nonprofit entities working to mobilize the power of institutions to transform our food system. FINE is committed to the New England Food Vision, and is working towards an equitable and just food system that provides access to healthy and abundant food for all New Englanders, and is defined by sustainable and productive land and ocean ecosystems. As the Director of Programs at Farm to Institution New England, I lead FINE’s farm and sea to campus program and food service program, in addition to playing a senior role in operations, strategy, and management for FINE. My background is in nonprofit program leadership, environmental conservation, and food system strategies, with a major focus on sustainable seafood. I previously worked at the International Pole & Line Foundation, the Anderson Cabot Center for Ocean Life at the New England Aquarium, Earthwatch Institute, and served on the board of the Global Sustainable Seafood Initiative (GSSI). Special interests of mine include: environmental issues, sustainable seafood, food justice, equity and diversity in the workplace and food system, college sector, and public-private partnerships.
